  A: You should start the front door power door lock switch replacement by inserting a flat bladed tool under the front edge of the switch plate and gently prying upwards to detach it from the door trim panel. Putting the switch plate in front position will release the rear retaining tabs along with electrical connector removal. Use a small flat bladed tool to open the switchplate retainer tabs which release the switchpack. Seamlessly install the switch plate by snapping the switchpack back into position then reconnect the electrical connectors afterward before placing the rear end of the switch plate within the door trim panel. Finish the installation by using your fingers to press the front of the switch plate while engaged the retainer clip.
