How to replace the side impact Air Bag Sensor on 2003 Buick Park Avenue?

Before replacing the inflatable restraint side impact sensor (SIS), disable the SIR device for safety. Make sure the SIS is firmly fixed and do not hit it. Delete Center Pillar Trim and unplug the SIS harness and delete the SIS. Wipe the mounting surface, insert the SIS and re-attach the harness. Trim back in place and activate SIR system.
