How to service the Ignition Control Module on 2003 Buick Park Avenue?

Disconnect the 14-way connector from the Ignition Control Module (ICM) while the ignition system remains off. Begin icm service by removing Spark Plug Wires from coil assemblies while remembering their original positions. Remove the screws which retain the coil assemblies to the icm and slide out the coils and the icm from the bracket. The installation process begins by securing the coils and icm to their bracket before inserting and tightening retention screws to 4.5 n.m (40 lb in). Finish up by connecting the Spark Plug Wires and the 14-way connector to the module while tightening the screw to 2.1 n.m (19 lb in).
