How to replace the Ignition Control Module on 2004 Buick Park Avenue?

To change the Ignition Control Module, disconnect the 14 way connector from the Ignition Control Module (ICM), and first turn the ignition off. Next, you remove the Spark Plug Wires from the coil assemblies taking note of the position before removing them. Take out the screws that fixed the coil assemblies to the icm, after that extract the coils and the icm from the bracket. For installation: attach the coils, and the icm to the bracket and make sure to follow the fastener notice in service precautions. Pin the ignition coils , and the icm into the bracket using the screws that hold it and tighten them to 4.5 n.m (40 lb in). Next, connect the Spark Plug Wires and join the module to the 14-way connector, with the screw being tightened to 2.1 n.m (19 lb in).
