How to replace the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) on 2003 Cadillac DeVille?

Start by lifting the vehicle and taking off both bolts (1, 3) which hold the front transaxle brace in place to the transaxle and right Cylinder Head. Detach the wire from the Vehicle Speed Sensor before unscrewing bolt 131 and extracting sensor 130 by turning sensor and pulling it outward. Install the Vehicle Speed Sensor (130) in place with its retaining bolt (131) and tighten to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). Use a new o-ring when needed during installation. Reattach the speed sensor connector and fasten bolts (1, 3) at the front transaxle brace to keep it fixed to transaxle and right Cylinder Head.
