  A: Start module replacement by removing the cruise control cable and electrical connector from the cruise control module assembly. You must remove fasteners from mounting studs before removing the vehicle's cruise control module assembly . First separate the bracket fasteners from their attachment on the cruise control module and remove the bracket from the module. Secure the cruise control module to its bracket by attaching fasteners which need to be tightened to 7.5 N.m (66 lb in). Secure the cruise control module to the cowl mounting studs by applying 9 N.m (80 lb in) of torque to the fasteners. To finish the installation use the electrical connector to connect it with the cruise control module and reinstall the cruise control cable and please note that post-replacement the cruise control module will adjust the cable internally.
