2003 Cadillac Seville Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the rear Fuse Box on 2003 Cadillac Seville?
A: Starting replacement of the rear electrical center or junction block requires users to disconnect the negative Battery Cable from the battery followed by removing the rear fuse block cover. Start by taking off the positive Battery Cable fastener which is attached to the Battery Cable and after that disconnect the positive cable from the rear fuse block. After unclipping the retaining clips you should lift the electrical fuse block up before turning it over. You need to first remove three fasteners which hold the connectors into place on the fuse block before unplugging all electrical connectors from it. To install the components begin by fastening all connectors to the rear fuse block while starting hand tighteners before applying 6 n.m torque (53 lb in). Insert the rear fuse block into its base assembly before engaging all retaining clips. Next, connect the positive Battery Cable through the fastener onto the rear fuse block while screwing the fastener to 15 n.m (11 lb ft). Safely connect the negative Battery Cable to the battery as the last step.
