  A: Begin by disconnecting both the cruise control cable and electrical connector on the cruise control module assembly for module replacement. Remove all nuts along with the bolt securing the cruise control module assembly and finally remove this assembly. Next remove fasteners which secure the bracket onto the cruise control module before separating the module from its bracket mount. Position the cruise control module on the mounting bracket before attaching fasteners to hold the bracket to the module. Secure these fasteners by tightening them to 7.5 N.m (66 lb in). Secure the cruise control module assembly to the body by tightening 2 nuts and a bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in). Then connect the electrical connector to the cruise control module and place the cruise control cable into position. Internal module adjustment will automatically tune the cable.
