How to replace the Brake Light Switch (RHD) on 2004 Cadillac Seville?

Start replacement of the Right Hand Brake Light Switch by taking out the right closeout/sound barrier. Turn the brake light ABS and shift lock switch counterclockwise before pulling it out when all electrical connections are disconnected. When installing the brake light switch you must position it into the retainer. As the automatic self-adjusting function should engage when placed correctly in the fully locked position. The twist lock switch needs no manual adjustment. Push the switch into the retainer until its plunger moves all the way inside before turning the switch clockwise to secure it fully in position. Plug back the electrical connections from the brake light switch into the brake light/ABS/shift lock switch.
