Begin the MAP Sensor replacement by turning off the ignition system then disconnecting the electrical connector of the MAP Sensor. Begin by disconnecting the MAP Sensor electrical connector before removing the throttle cable bracket bolts and bracket and the sensor from the Intake Manifold. Check the MAP Sensor grommet for signs of wear or damage and replace it when needed. Fitting our MAP Sensor requires you to reinstall it into the Intake Manifold before you secure the throttle cable bracket using its bolts while keeping bolt torque at 12 n.m (106 lb in). Reconnect the MAP Sensor electrical connector as the last step.
