How to replace the rear Trunk Lock Cylinder on 2003 Cadillac Seville?

In order to replace le key rear compartment lid lock cylinder, open the rear compartment and take off the back up lamp. Disengage the latch release cable and then take out the screws that hold the lock cylinder. Install the new cylinder and fasten with joints, re-attach the cable, re-install lamp and check its functionality.
