How to replace the front door striker on 2003 Chevrolet Corvette?

Find a replacement of the front door striker, unscrew the striker cover, striker screws and remove the shims and striker. Apply the new striker and shims to the lock pillar, install the screws, but loosely, verify by closing the door and then tighten the screws.
