How to replace the right hood latch on 2003 Chevrolet Corvette?

The first step for right hood latch replacement involves marking the latch perimeter by using a grease pencil. You should first wrap a grease pencil around the latch before removing bolts from their brackets to separate the latch from the latch bracket. Cut both the cable end and cable sheath grommet off from the latch component. Completely install the cable end into the catch position of the latch while setting the cable sheath grommet into the slotted hole on the latch. Bring the latch into the marked area before tightening its bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
