How to replace the Throttle Position Sensor on 2003 Chevrolet Malibu?

Start the sensor replacement by flicking off the ignition and uncarefully taking the air intake duct out of place. Use a screwdriver to remove the tp sensor electrical connector before taking out the tp sensor along with the o-ring using the 2 sensor fasteners. First place the o-ring onto the tp sensor then install the sensor onto the Throttle Body assembly. Use loctite(r) 262, gm p/n #1052624 or an equivalent substance for tightening the sensor by securing it with the 2 fasteners. First reconnect the tp sensor electrical connector before reinstalling the air intake duct while tightening the sensor attaching screws to 2 n.m (18 lb in).
