  A: The Oil Pan replacement process begins with disconnecting the battery negative cable followed by removing the right Engine Mount strut from the engine. Position the j36414-b engine support fixture and elevate and stabilize the vehicle. First position the A/C Compressor by removing its bolts so you can access the Oil Pan. Next drain the Catalytic Converter from the Exhaust Manifold and also remove the frame. Start by draining the engine oil and disconnecting the oil level sensor's electrical connector before you remove the Starter motor. Remove the transfer case brace when the vehicle has awd features. Users who are working on front-wheel-drive (FWD) vehicles must use a suitable utility strap to secure the transmission case extension housing. Separate the lower support bar (J 45057-2) and Engine Mount with its bracket from the Oil Pan. Install the torque wrench adapter (J 39505) to gather the engine right side Oil Pan side bolts. Next, take off the Oil Pan and gasket while cleaning the Oil Pan and engine block gasket surface. Position the transaxle brace before using the torque wrench adapter (J 39505) to bolt in the engine right side Oil Pan side bolts. Begin by installing the Oil Pan Gasket then the Oil Pan after which install the transaxle brace before placing the Engine Mount together with the Engine Mount bracket. Reinstall the lower support bar (J 45057-2) and take off the utility strap before putting on the transfer case brace if your vehicle has awd. After that install the Starter motor before connecting the oil level sensor electrical connector then put back the frame in place. Place the Exhaust Manifold's Catalytic Converter before installing the A/C Compressor then lower the vehicle and remove the engine support fixture (J36414-B) to complete installation of the right Engine Mount strut then fill the engine with oil and finish by connecting the battery negative cable.
