The procedure to replace an Air Temperature Actuator begins by taking out the IP compartment and disconnecting the electrical connector which serves the air temperature actuator. You should begin by getting rid of the retaining screws followed by pulling out the air temperature actuator. Secure the new air temperature actuator by placing it in position before tightening its retaining screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in). Follow the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Reconnect the electrical interface to the air temperature actuator before installing the IP compartment with a subsequent calibration step of the actuator.
