    How to replace the Air Inlet Blend Door Actuator on Buick LeSabre? Posted by Customer

    To exchange the air inlet actuator, you should eliminate the IP compartment, as well as the right sound insulator then. Then, you need to disconnect Dash Integration Module (DIM), remove bracket screws for the rear two DIM module. Reposition the DIM module bracket to see the air inlet actuator, unwire the electrical connector from the actuator and remove its attachment screws to remove the actuator. For installation, start by attaching the new air inlet actuator in position fix it using the retaining screws and tighten them in to tightness of 1.4 N.m (12 lb in). Reconnect the electrical connector to the actuator, replace the DIM module bracket to where it is originally, re-install the rear two DIM module bracket retaining screws with 1.4 N.m (12 lb in) torque noted above. Finally, reinstall the DIM module to the bracket, the right sound insulator, and the IP compartment.
