How to replace the Trunk Lock Cylinder for the rear compartment lid on 2004 Buick Park Avenue?

Start the lock cylinder replacement by taking out the back up lamp assembly first. Remove the rear compartment lid trim part first. Unfasten three nuts holding the lock cylinder then detach the cylinder from the lid. Fit the lock cylinder to the lid before tightening three nuts on its base to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Reposition both components of car trim before putting back the Back Up Light system.
