First disconnect the positive bat terminal from the starter motor by removing its terminal nut and then disconnect the bat positive cable from the same terminal. The vehicle needs lowering as you disconnect the battery positive cable from its position on the vehicle. Start the installation procedure by joining the battery positive cable to the vehicle and afterward lift the vehicle once more. The starter motor bat terminal receives the battery positive cable along with its nut while the technician tightens the nut to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Fasten the battery positive cable through the conduit before mounting it to the conduit retainers.
