The first step to change the rear outside Door Handle requires a fully raised window. Begin by removing both the door trim panel along with the water deflector. Remove the outside Door Handle rod by moving it away from its connecting point on the door latch retainer clip. Perform the following step to reach outside Door Handle fasteners: first remove the large plug and afterward get rid of the two fasteners holding the outside Door Handle. The handle with attached latch rod can be detached after pushing up the two retaining tabs located at its lower part. Begin installation by inserting the Door Handle assembly into the door through the rod cutout then set the handle properly before pressing upward and inside to let the two lower retaining tabs connect with door metal. Insert the outside Door Handle fasteners through the access holes before securely tightening them to 7 n.m. Insert the access plug into its hole while connecting the outside handle rod to the door latch by putting the rod into the retainer clip on the door assembly before closing the clip.
