How to replace the steering wheel on 2004 Cadillac Seville?

To replace the steering wheel, first, disable SIR system and to remove inflatable restraint steering wheel module, then disconnect steering wheel electrical connector and remove steering wheel retaining nut. Then install the Steering Wheel Puller Legs (J42578) and the Steering Wheel Puller (J1859-A) to the steering wheel and subsequently use the installed tools to remove the steering wheel. Once removed, route the wiring through the new steering wheel and match the splines in the steering wheel with that of the shaft before fitting the steering wheel into the upper shaft. Fit the steering wheel retaining nut and torque it to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.) and then fit the steering wheel electrical connection and reinstall the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Finally, enable the SIR system.
