The replacement process begins with right bank Timing Chain Tensioner removal followed by right bank Timing Chain shoe alongside its guide. First remove the right bank Timing Chain then eliminate the primary camshaft drive chain tensioner and finally take out the primary upper camshaft drive chain guide. Proceed to remove first the primary camshaft drive chain and subsequently the right bank Timing Chain idler. Start by removing the left bank Timing Chain Tensioner and its shoe followed by guide and left bank Timing Chain idler then dismantle the left bank Timing Chain. Tools should be used to check and cleanse all timing drive components until replacement becomes essential. Start by installing the left bank Timing Chain after installing the left bank Timing Chain idler before adding the left bank Timing Chain Guide and tensioner and shoe. Start by adding the right bank Timing Chain idler followed by the primary camshaft drive chain and the primary upper camshaft drive chain guide and tensioner. Together you must install the right bank Timing Chain and each associated component including the guide and shoe as well as the tensioner and then reinstall the engine front cover.
