How to replace the LH Exhaust Cam Gear for Bank 2 on 2004 Cadillac SRX?

After removing the upper and lower intake manifolds you can take off the left bank Camshaft cover plus its sensors to reach the Camshaft position actuator. First unfasten the Camshaft position actuator solenoid and remember to move the crankshaft balancer clockwise by hand only. Use the crankshaft balancer bolt to turn the crankshaft until both camshafts stand straight and parallel to the Camshaft cover rail. Apply a wrench on the Camshaft hex to stop wear and refuse to take out the Camshaft position actuator bolt until later steps. Put the en 46108 Timing Chain retention tool in place and engage the Timing Chain fully before loosening the Camshaft position actuator bolt. Draw your marks on the Timing Chain before removing the left exhaust Camshaft position actuator bolt and its corresponding bolt. When installing the Camshaft position actuator use the ex-marked unit and position the timing mark on the outer ring to the specific Timing Chain link listed on the left engine side. Start the bolt on the position sensor module with light pressure but take off the en 46108 part. Place a wrench on the hex shape of the Camshaft to safeguard it during tightening of the Camshaft position actuator bolt. Put on the Camshaft position actuator solenoid, camshaft sensors alongside the Camshaft cover and position the upper Intake Manifold with the lower Intake Manifold.
