How to replace the primary cam gear and timing chain on 2005 Cadillac SRX?

To replace the primary camshaft timing chain and sprockets, start with the removal of the engine front cover. After that, remove the right bank of secondary camshaft Timing Chain Tensioner, then right bank secondary camshaft timing chain shoe and the right bank secondary camshaft Timing Chain Guide. Subsequently, take off the right bank secondary camshaft timing chain and the primary camshaft Timing Chain Tensioner. After that, remove the primary camshaft timing chain upper guide and the primary camshaft timing chain. With installation, begin with the primary camshaft timing chain (120), then the primary upper camshaft Timing Chain Guide (122), then the primary camshaft Timing Chain Tensioner (123). Next, to install the right bank secondary camshaft timing chain (124), the right bank secondary camshaft Timing Chain Guide (125), the right bank secondary camshaft timing chain shoe (126), and the right bank secondary camshaft Timing Chain Tensioner (127). When all process is completed, reinstall the engine front cover.
