How to replace the primary cam gear and timing chain on 2006 Cadillac SRX?

In order to remove the timing chain and sprockets, start with the removal of the spark plugs to allow easy rotation of the Crankshaft, followed by the engine front cover. Then remove the right bank secondary camshaft Timing Chain Tensioner, the right bank secondary camshaft timing chain shoe, and the right bank secondary camshaft Timing Chain Guide then remove off the right bank secondary camshaft timing chain. Remove timing chain tension and timing chain upper guide followed by the removal of timing chain. For installation, begin with the timing chain, and followed put from the upper camshaft Timing Chain Guide, and ultimately the Timing Chain Tensioner. Next, join up the right bank secondary camshaft timing chain, the right bank secondary camshaft Timing Chain Guide and the right bank secondary camshaft timing chain shoe, followed by the right bank secondary camshaft Timing Chain Tensioner. Lastly, restore the spark plugs on, they front cover of the engine.
