How to replace the rear wiper arm on 2004 Cadillac SRX?

Use tape or an erasable marker to mark the current position of the rear Wiper Blade on the rear window before starting work. You must rotate the cap on top of the rear Wiper Arm nut before taking out the nut. First turn and unscrew the rear Wiper Arm nut then apply the Wiper Arm puller j 39822 to take out the Wiper Arm. Afterward separate the Wiper Blade from the arm. Install the Wiper Blade onto the Wiper Arm first and slot the arm onto the motor unit while keeping the blade overlap with its mark on the back window. Screw the rear Wiper Arm nut to 25 n.m (19 lb ft) and fit back its cap over the area. Check that the rear wiper works correctly through visual inspection after clearing the tape or mark from its proper placement on the rear window.
