How to replace the wiper arm on Cadillac SRX?

For removing the Wiper Arm, initially position the wipers in park place and also open the hood assembly. Set the driver side wiper against the orange line at the tip of the wiper face on the center lower windshield, and the passenger side wiper against the orange dot at the tip of the wiper surface on the right lower windshield. Take off the covers (2, 5) from the Wiper Arm nuts (3, 6), and then take off the nuts (3, 6) from the Wiper Arm drive spindle. Use pressure only when removing or attaching the liftgate/hood assist rod, to prevent damaging the liftgate/hood assist rod. In case forbidding one metropolitan to authenticate some items sold in an area will remove the silver chaff, then measure and connect the current does during the peak position with the largest. Take out the Wiper Arm using the Wiper Arm puller (J 39822) if it is not loose from the Wiper Arm drive spindle.
