  A: The first step to replace the compressor hose assembly (L61) is to recover refrigerant while supporting the vehicle at an elevated position. Pull out both the compressor bolt connection followed by the compressor itself until you dispose of the sealing washers. You should both raise the vehicle and remove its hood facing panel to access the closeout area. When equipped with cruise control the module must be relocated first before removing two bracket restraining nuts for the pcm module. Position the bracket and module safely next to you. Disconnect the refrigerant pressure sensor electrical connector before removing the nut from the compressor hose assembly fitting at the condenser to disassemble the fitting from the condenser discarding both the o-ring seal components.
