How to replace the engine front timing cover on 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier?

To remove the engine front cover replace the crankcase balancer, drive belt tensioner, engine front cover to water pump bolt, and the remaining engine front cover bolts. If the engine front cover gasket is ruptured, remove it. If it was removed, then put a front cover gasket, followed by the engine front cover. Mount the engine front cover to water pump bolt and tighten it to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.) and the remaining engine front cover bolts must be tightened up to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs). Next, install drive belt tensioner and its bolt, tighten drive belt tensioner bolt to 45 nm (33 ft. Lbs), and finally, reinstall cranks case balancer.
