  A: The tools required for servicing and repairing the constant velocity joint boot, in particular, for the wheel drive shaft inner joint and seal replacement, are: j 35910 drive axle seal clamp pliers, j 35566 drive axle seal clamp pliers and j 8059 snap ring pliers-parllel jaw. Start by removing the small seal retaining clamp from the corner of the halfshaft bar using the side cutter and throw it away. Perform with a side cutter trots the greater seal retaining clamp through the tripot joint out and cast it away. Remove halfshaft inboard seal from the tri-lobal tripot bushing on the large diameter and slide seal away from the joint along the halfshaft bar.
