  A: To perform the Fuel Injector replacement start by removing the Fuel Rail followed by disassembly of the Fuel Injector retainer clip and the Fuel Injector from the Fuel Rail. Observation of the Fuel Injector reveals whether the upper o-ring stays in place on the Fuel Rail assembly; remove it if present. Cut away the worn o-rings which exist on Fuel Injector positions number 3 and number 4. New o-rings for the injector require installation during assembly following application of clean engine oil on both o-rings. Most importantly attach the Fuel Injector clip to the Fuel Injector after setting the o-rings (3, 4) onto the Fuel Injector. The clip will only function properly if placed correctly into position. Sbey attach the Fuel Injector into the Fuel Rail using connector orientation that faces up before reinstalling the rail.
