2005 Chevrolet Classic Fuel Injector Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the fuel injector on 2005 Chevrolet Classic?
A: A successful replacement of the Fuel Injector begins with removing the Fuel Rail before extracting the Fuel Injector from its retainer clip and the Fuel Rail. Before installation check the upper o-ring removal from the Fuel Injector because its presence would indicate improper removal from the Fuel Rail assembly. The new o-rings (3, 4) must be placed on the Fuel Injector after applying clean engine oil for lubrication. Start by fixing the Fuel Injector clip into place on the Fuel Injector before inserting the Fuel Injector through the Fuel Rail while orienting its connector upwards. The correct installation will cause the Fuel Injector to snap into position. Install the Fuel Rail as the final procedure.
