To replace the rear Steering Knuckle first, raise and support the vehicle, the tire and wheel along with the rear wheel bearings must be removed. With the aid of the appropriate jack raise the knuckle to relieve pressure from the shock and take off the lower shock to knuckle bolt, coil spring, and toe link, upper control arm to knuckle bolt and nut, and the trailing arm to knuckle bolts, and stabilizer shaft link to knuckle bolt before removing the knuckle from the vehicle. Start with the installation of the trailing arm knuckle bolt, tighten to 180 nm (133 ft. Lbs.), followed by the attachment of the upper control arm knuckle bolt and nut to reckon 110 nm (81 ft. Lbs.) and 70 degrees. Then, mount the toe link, coil spring and lower shock absorber on knuckle bolt, tightening it to 180 nm (133 ft. Lbs.). Mount the stabilizer link onto the knuckle, tightening the bolt to 50 nm (37 ft.
