    A: To replace lower Control Arm bushings vertically, you will need to use following tools: arm bushing set (J 21474-01), puller bolt thrust bearing (J 21474-271), bushing installer remover (J 21474-2), nut (J 21474-4), Control Arm Bushing installer (J 21474-13), high pressure lubricant (J 23444-A), driven sprocket support bearing installer (J 34126), and front knuckle support (J 35379). Start from removing the lower Control Arm and fix it in a vice. Mark the lower Control Arm on the flat surface of the bushing flange. Apply j23444-a or equivalent to the threads of j21474-27, assembled with bushing tools. J 21474-27, j 21474-13, j 34126, j 35379, j 21474-2, and j 21474-4, and tighten j 21474-4 before disassembling the tools. While installing, make sure that the lower Control Arm vertical bushing is properly angled to ensure the original vehicle ride, handling, and road feeling as well. Identify alignment of the flat end of the bushing flank with the mark on the Control Arm hence 30 degrees from a centerline while the thin slot in the bushing faces outboard. Spool the bushing on the Control Arm, apply j 23444-a or equal to the threads of j 21474-27, and install the tools an assembling: the next step is to apply force to j 21474-27, j 21474-13, j 21474-5, then j 21474-4 and you need to tighten j 21474-4 and dismantle tools before reinstalling the lower Control Arm.
