How to replace the Lash Adjusters on 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

The replacement of valve lifters requires initial cover removal of the valve Rocker Arm then continued lower Intake Manifold extraction until the valve rocker arms and pushrods can be removed. Reposition the valve train parts on a rack before removing the lifter guide bolts and guide component. After that, remove the lifters. Before installation place valve lifters inside prelude gm p/n 1052367 (Canadian P/N 992869) or equivalent. Reinstall them in their original positions. After applying threadlock gm p/n 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) or an equivalent to the lifter guide bolts, reassemble them by tightening to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). Complete the installation by putting back the lower Intake Manifold then valve Rocker Arm cover followed by checking for any fluid leaks.
