How to replace the Lash Adjusters on 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

Initially replace the valve lifters by starting with the valve Rocker Arm cover removal followed by taking out the lower Intake Manifold before extracting the valve rocker arms with pushrods. After removing the lifter guide bolts and guide you must arrange the valve train parts on a rack according to their original positions. New value lifters should receive a coating of prelube gm p/n 1052367 (Canadian P/N 992869) or equivalent before their installation into their specific positions. Screw in the lifter guide before applying gm threadlock p/n 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) or its equivalent to the bolts and torque them to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). Reinstall the valve rocker arms and pushrods and lower Intake Manifold and valve Rocker Arm cover while checking for possible leakage.
