How to replace the Tail Light on 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

In order to replace the tail lamp on a monte carlo, start by opening the back cabinet and extract the wingnut from the tail lamp. Pull the rear compartment trim panel back, and take out the lower wingnuts before you can remove the tail lamp from the rear body panel. Unplug the electrical connector to the tail lamp making sure to remember the exact path for the connection of the electrical wire in order to dodge any damages. Next, do not touch that part in-between, please just remove the socket of that part by turning it in the counterclockwise direction and then removing the bulb from the socket. In the same manner, take off the sidemarker lamp socket and turn it counterclockwise which then provide for taking out the bulb from that socket also. To install firstly place the bulb inside tail lamp socket then inside the sidemarker lamp socket and then tighten the sidemarker lamp socket by turning it in clockwise direction. Attach the tail lamp socket by tightening it clockwise, and make sure to organize the electrical wiring to avoid getting damaged. Then connect the electrical connector to the tail lamp, and install the tail lamp again on the back body panel, and fasten it with the lower wingnuts. Pull back the rear compartment trim panel into place and tighten the tail lamp with the upper wingnut before re-securing the rear compartment.
