How to replace the water pump in a 3.4L engine on 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

The first task to upgrade the Water Pump on a 3.4l engine is to drain the cooling system and detach the Drive Belt shield bolt plus Drive Belt shield. Unfasten the Water Pump Pulley bolts before you remove the Drive Belt and torque down the Water Pump Pulley bolts to take its parts away. Remove the Water Pump while also taking out its bolts after you dismantle the Water Pump assembly. Prepare both spots where the Water Pump Gasket rests before you put in the gasket then Water Pump. Install the Water Pump bolts first at 10 nm (89 inch lbs.), then put the Water Pump Pulley and tighten its bolts to 25 nm (18 inch lbs.). Put back the Drive Belt shield bolt and the Drive Belt shield then put on the Drive Belt correctly and secure it at 10 nm (89 inch lbs). Finally, fill the cooling system.
