A: To remove the Brake Master Cylinder get rid of the escapement fluid level connector and scrub the manufacturer and the master cylinder. Take out reservoir, then if the vehicle has abs, remove automatically the brake pipes (1,4) from the proportioning valve and also remove the brake pipes from the master cylinder. Remove the nuts holding master cylinder to the Brake Booster; if the vehicle does not have an abs, remove the master cylinder from the Brake Booster, otherwise remove it with the proportioning valve. Separate the proportioning valve from the master cylinder for cars fitted with abs. Disassemble, check, and reassemble the master cylinder if necessary. For installation, change position, booster piston rod and bench bleed the master cylinder. If your vehicle has abs, attach the proportioning valve to the master cylinder. Attaching the master cylinder with two nuts to the booster of the brake, tighten nuts to 13 nm (115 inch lbs), and then to attach the brake pipes and tighten the flare nuts to 16 nm; (12.0 ft. Lbs). Mount the reservoir, reconnect the reservoir fluid level connector, fill the reservoir, and the hydraulic brake system's bleeder. Lastly, look for leaks in the hydraulic brake system and measure the travel on the brake pedal, as well as conducting a brake system vehicle road test.
