How to replace the A/C Hose in the condenser on 2004 GMC Envoy?

The first step to replace the condenser tube includes recovering all refrigerant and completing system discharge to prevent r134a-related injuries. Start by removing the grille followed by disconnecting the condenser tube bolt from the receiver dehydrator along with its attached condenser tube. First empty the evaporator tube by taking out its condenser tube nut and afterward extracting the tube. When installing the condenser tube for the evaporator tube you must fasten the receiver/dehydrator clamp nut and torque it to 5 n.m (44 lb in). Fasten the condenser tube to the receiver dehydrator through the condenser tube bolt which needs to be tightened up to 20 n.m (15 lb ft). The next step includes evacuating then recharging the a/c system. Closeoperation halogen leak detector (J 39400-A) must inspect the component fittings following reinstallation of the grille.
