How to service and repair the Rocker Shaft Spring Kit and Valve Stem Oil Seal on 2004 GMC Envoy?

Raise vehicle, remove service slot plug, lock flywheel with EN 46547, lower. Remove rocker arms and spark plugs. Install J 44228 base plate and J 39313 adapter; apply air to hold valve closed. Compress spring, remove locks, spring and seal; fit seal with J 38820. Reassemble, relieve pressure, remove tools, refit plugs, rocker arms, replace plug, lower vehicle.
