How to replace the power door lock switch on 2004 GMC Savana 1500?

In order to change the power door lock switch, take off the front door trim plate, snap off the electrical connector, and take out the retaining tabs. Install the new switch on the trim plate and press to get the tabs connected and then reconnect the electrical connector and put the trim plate back.
