The first step to replace the power window switch involves removal of the front door trim plate. The power window switch electrical connector must be disconnected first. The clip from the front door trim plate can be released to detach the escutcheon while freeing the tabs on the power window switch allows it to be removed from the trim plate. Placement of the power window switch on the front door trim plate allows you to engage the retaining clip by pushing it into place. After completing electrical connector installation to the power window switch the front door trim plate can be put back in place.

Once the switch is disconnected, put the new power door lock switch onto the front door trim plate and push it to lock it in place. Put the electrical connector onto the power door lock switch and then mount the front door trim plate .
