How to replace the timing chain and sprockets on 2004 GMC Savana 1500?

To install the timing chain and sprockets, take off the oil pump and calibrate the timing marks of the crankshaft sprock and the camshaft sprock. Take out the camshaft sprocket bolts, sprocket and timing chain. Install and remove the crankshaft sprocket using the appropriate tools and ensuring that it is aligned properly then install the oil pump again.
