How to replace the Brake Light Switch on 2004 GMC Savana 3500?

Start replacement by taking off the electrical connector and battery negative cable from the stop lamp switch. Before removing the brake pedal pin holder you need to take out the stop lamp switch and the Pushrod to the Brake Booster. Take the stop lamp switch apart from its contacts on the power Brake Booster Pushrod. You should position the stop lamp switch onto its connecting rod that leads to the power Brake Booster before putting the stop lamp switch and ready rod onto the brake pedal pin and locking the brake switch retainer. Plug the electrical connector back to the stop lamp switch and place the battery negative cable back in position.
