How to service and repair the brake light switch on GMC Savana 3500?

Before starting Brake Light Switch work disconnect the black Battery Cable. You need to take off the retainer from the brake pedal pin before unplugging the electrical connector from the stoplamp switch. Remove both the stoplamp switch and Pushrod from power Brake Booster to brake pedal pin before unsnapping them. To mount the stoplamp switch fit it directly onto the Pushrod out to the power Brake Booster then install both parts onto the brake pedal pin. Put on the stoplamp switch electrical connector and return the battery terminal into place.
