How to replace the Brake Light Switch on 2003 GMC Savana 3500?

Start replacement of the stop lamp switch by disconnecting the battery negative cable and following battery disconnect procedures. To access the switch you must disconnect both its electrical connection and pull the Pushrod to the power Brake Booster from the brake pedal pin including the stop lamp switch. Remove the pressure rod connection from the stop lamp switch to the Brake Booster. You should install the stop lamp switch by placing it onto the Pushrod which connects to the Brake Booster. Then attach the stop lamp switch with its Pushrod to the brake pedal pin. Align the electrical connector to the stop lamp switch and complete the process by joining the negative Battery Cable.
