Secure bolts to the roof panel mounting of the striker before adjusting its position by tightening down the bolts until it reaches a proper fit while self-aligning the striker and performing door fit checks. The number of shims can be adjusted up to 3 items before you tighten the striker bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Finish this operation by adding the upper door latch striker cover.
