An isopropyl alcohol pad followed by a clean lint-free cloth should be used to clean the rear shelf where the GPS antenna will mount. Before applying the GPS antenna adhesive section you must remove its protective covering yet you need to avoid any contact with the adhesive itself. Use your fingertips to press the GPS antenna onto its mounting position on the rear shelf for 30 seconds before it achieves complete seating.
