Buick Century Antenna Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to replace the navigation antenna on Buick Century?
A: Begin antenna navigation replacement by taking out the panel from the rear shelf. A small wide blade plastic piece removes the adhesive to extract the GPS antenna from the rear shelf after which operators disconnect the GPS antenna wire. A razor blade combined with a pad of isopropyl alcohol and a clean lint-free fabric is required to remove adhesive residue from the rear shelf. An isopropyl alcohol pad followed by a clean lint-free cloth should be used to clean the rear shelf where the GPS antenna will mount. Before applying the GPS antenna adhesive section you must remove its protective covering yet you need to avoid any contact with the adhesive itself. Use your fingertips to press the GPS antenna onto its mounting position on the rear shelf for 30 seconds before it achieves complete seating. Secure the GPS antenna cable connector and replace the rear shelf trim panels to their positions.
